Deyga, started by Arthi Raguram, has overcome a lot of skin concerns and its insecurities. To treat her skin, rather than opting for chemical products she crafted her range of products which is honest, natural, and also rooted in tradition. From making a single soap, Charcoal Soap in our kitchen to building a recognizable name in the skincare industry, the journey is so emotional and intentional.

We did not chase quick success, we focused on created products which genuinely worked for most of the skin. After a certain period of time, Deyga Organics started growing organically through the support from customers and their experiences, which obviously became a part of the brand's story.

Early Struggles and Challenges We Went Through!

Like every other brand in the market, Deyga’s journey also had an up and down graph, especially in the early days since we were based on handmade and natural skincare brands. The biggest hurdle we went through was “Building Trust” internally loaded with skincare brands.

Competing with established and commercial brands was something that was really challenging. As customers are used to commercial products, convincing them to swap with natural, organic, and safe skincare products required a lot of patience and consistent education. At Deyga, we mainly focussed on products, real-time results, and customer experiences.

For example, our most selling and customer favorites were reviewed positively, which also showed a pathway for building credibility and word-of-mouth growth. Also, there were times when growth felt slow, and we have less to no improvements; But showing up everyday mattered the most.

Educating customers about natural  ingredients and their benefits was another important step. Most of the people were unfamiliar with traditional ingredients or how they work over time.
