Almonds always bring back memories of childhood, our elders handing us a few to eat in the mornings. Who knew they would become such an essential part of our range of handcrafted products.
History: Almonds are thought to have originated in China and Central Asia before it flourished in the Mediterranean. Although it was eaten on its own, raw or toasted, it was also a component of various dishes.
Parts Used: Almonds with the shell removed, revealing the edible nut inside are churned up to create formulations that work wonders for both your skin and hair!
Composition: Almond is a superfood that contains lots of fiber, protein, and magnesium. Almonds are higher in calcium, vitamin E, riboflavin and niacin than any other tree nut. They contain a fairly high amount of fat making them a healthy choice of snacking.
