History: Cucumber is a widely cultivated plant in the gourd family. The cucumber is originally from South Asia, but now grows on most continents. Many different types of cucumber are traded on the global market.

Parts Used: The Fruits, seeds, and skin can be used in formulations. Stems and leaves of young plants are used in our primary formulations.

Composition: Cucumber is a very good source of vitamin C, vitamin K, and potassium. It contains vitamin A, vitamin B6, thiamin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and manganese.

Scientific name: Cucumis sativus

Cucumber porvides a natural glow to the skin, it reduces skin tanning, sunburns and rashes. It also soothes dark circles, puffy eyes and controls oil secretion and acne.
