History: Beeswax has been used since prehistory as a lubricant, waterproofing agent, polish for wood and for making candles. They eventually found their way into cosmetic artistry.

Parts Used: Beeswax is produced by bees to build comb which is used to house their young and store honey. We ethically source our beeswax with no harm to the bees or the environment!

Composition: Beeswax contains carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. It is an ester of higher fatty acids with higher monohydric alcohols, saturated hydrocarbons, free fatty acids, aromatics, water, stains, and other minerals.

Scientific name: Cera alba
