The sister of cinnamon, made from the bark of east asian evergreen trees, Cassia has many benefits for the skin. We use it in our handmade formulas for its moisturizing and nourishing properties.
History: Cassia is an evergreen tree originating in southern China which is widely cultivated in India, Indonesia, and other South Asian regions. It was used as a home remedy to treat the symptoms of diabetes, obesity, and many other conditions.
Parts Used: The root, bark, leaves, and fruit pulp is used in our creations.
Composition: It is a good source of Vitamin K and Iron, dietary Fiber, Calcium and Manganese.
